Dear friends,

I wanted to reach out to all of you to express my sincerest gratitude for your support. In spite of the false accusations and mis-information about me that was sent during the campaign, and the historically low voter turnout in the primary election, you came through for me and I am profoundly grateful. We were able to be victorious without stooping to sling mud against anyone. I hope that positive and accurate messaging of accomplishments and issues facing our Commonwealth can continue to be the hallmark of my campaign strategies in the future.

I entered public service after much prayer and with much encouragement from the community, and I will continue to serve until God leads me in another direction (be that through His word to me or His direction of you, my constituents, to replace me). As we move forward in the next two years, I will continue to work for economic development and job creation in the Roanoke Valley, to oppose the expansion of Obama-care, to further rein in wasteful spending, to protect all of our constitutional freedoms, to protect life and to prepare for the high growth rate in our senior adult population so that life in our Commonwealth is equally vibrant for all generations, young or old.

There is much to do, and I am honored that you have entrusted me with this responsibility. It is humbling to have such confidence placed in me, and I will do everything I can to never let you down.

If my staff or I can be of service to you, please don’t hesitate to contact me at, or by calling my district office at 540-283-2839.

God’s peace be on you all.
